Flownetic Consulting

Fin on Intercom, tested on your own content before go-live.

For teams already on Intercom Helpdesk, and for teams moving to it. We set Fin up in your workspace, decide with you what it may read and do, and test typical requests before a customer sees it.

What we set up in your workspace

Five things, each written down and each checked before go-live.

  • ContentYour help centre, website pages and internal articles synced as the content Fin answers from, and nothing else.
  • AudiencesWhich visitors see which content and procedures, by page, plan or region, so one workspace serves several brands cleanly.
  • ProceduresStep-by-step instructions for the requests that need more than an answer, branching on real data rather than guesses.
  • Data connectorsOrder, account and booking lookups wired to your systems, built against sample data first and switched to live only when the steps are right.
  • TestingPreviews, batch tests and simulations run against conditions you set, with every result recorded before anyone decides on go-live.

Fin documents these capabilities itself; the sources are listed at the end of this page.

How we prepare your Fin trial

First, we agree the work, responsibilities and quote in writing.

  1. Plan the trial

Agree what it should prove, which requests Fin should try first, where customers should reach it and who decides.

  2. Connect and configure

We sync your content, set the audiences, and build the procedures and connectors in your workspace, with sample data before live data.

  3. Test

We test typical requests against conditions you set and record what each conversation did and where it went.

  4. Decide on go-live

Your trial owner reviews the results and makes the call.

Moving to Intercom?

The move and the Fin set-up are one plan, not two projects.

We move help centres, tickets and contacts into Intercom, with the field mapping agreed in writing and a test run you review before the final run.

Fin is prepared on the migrated content while the move is still in progress, so the day you switch over is also the day the first low-risk requests are ready to try. Your existing helpdesk stays live until you decide otherwise.

See it on your own content first

After a first call, we set up a private page for your team.

  1. Fin trained on your public site

A chat on the page, synced to your website or help centre, that your team can question the way a customer would.

  2. Sample orders behind it

A handful of fictional orders and two procedures, so you can watch Fin look something up, follow the steps, and say plainly when it cannot.

  3. Nothing connected to your systems

The page reads from and writes to nothing of yours. It is there to show how Fin behaves on your words, before any trial is scoped.

Ask for one on the call. The page is unlisted and built for your team only.

Talk through your trial

What to have ready for the call: what the trial should prove, which requests Fin should try first, where customers should reach it, and your rough monthly support volume.
